Bilingual school in Valencia IALE-Elians

During the school year 2009 / 2010, students had the opportunity to see first hand many social realities around them, but some of them living with or receiving information and making group dynamics of institutions working directly with them: Jovesólides, International Cooperation, the Red Cross and La Casa Grande.
In the last quarter of year we have worked directly with the Red Cross which has been the center to carry out their activities "Educating for Peace and visited the center La Casa Grande Association, to deliver part of our solidarity and perform piggy bank activity "One World, four roads"

On Sunday 25 April, 4 º ESO students of the school presented their project as a model at the Botanical Garden of Valencia. The model represented an amusement park. The scientific basis of it was:

• Free Fall (Phoenix)
• Friction (roller coaster)
• angular and linear velocities (Noria)

The students had a wonderful staging in which leaflets attached a power point with explanations, and a colorful layout with colored lights and accompanying music. Take turns telling the students were all attending the scientific basis of the project.

On Tuesday, April 27 2nd ESO attended the theater Flumen of Valencia to witness the theatrical performance of "Princess Hungry", a story about a problem in minute news, unfortunately, suffers from a large segment of our society and is its greatest exponent in the field of adolescence. During the two or three years has been promoting participation in such initiatives in our school.

On 23 April, on the occasion of the celebrations of World Book Day, pupils from the third year of secondary education IALE College developed a theatrical activity for students of EDI-3. These children, who enrolled in the final year of kindergarten, could enjoy this new edition of Storytelling, a representation of three traditional tales (Hansel and Gretel, The Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood) with which small children amused themselves by The narrative and stage their older colleagues.

We have already written and said many times how proud we feel the success of MEP in the competition for Bethlehem. Again we wish to reiterate and to share with all parents and pupils at the school this time that the student has shared with their principals and teachers.
Also serve this new news to refer to a new achievement of the student, who has still chosen by the Fundación San Patricio as President on a new journey with a scientific nature that take place in mid May. Bethlehem Congratulations!

One year we participated in the mathematics Olympiad organized by the mathematics education society Valencia Al-Khwarizmi.

The first phase (regional) has been developed at the IES Rascanya of Valencia. They have participated students: Raul Mayo (1st ESO), Marta Verdejo (2 º ESO), Javier Ferrando (2 º ESO) in the category of first cycle of ESO and the students of 4 º ESO: Fran Auñón, Marta Cabanero and Manolo Garcia in the category of second cycle of ESO.

The adventure of creating literary thought and express oral and written so has been the most obvious goal of this conference of Literary Education at the University of Navarra.
Students: Fran Auñón, Cabanero Marta, Marta Rojo, Victor Perez and Laura heads have been protagonists of this project and have been participants in conferences, workshops, video, forum, literary gatherings, concerts, master classes who have made this event a first major cultural space, enriching and rewarding for all who had the opportunity to participate in this adventure of literary creation.

The Princes of Asturias received on Friday the 20 students selected to represent Spain in the educational program "Model Parliament", in which young people across the EU have the opportunity to discuss proposals on issues like youth unemployment and equality female labor.
Don Felipe and Doña Letizia greeted audiences at the Salon de la Zarzuela to twenty students and several representatives of Caja Madrid and San Patricio Foundation, organizers of the initiative in Spain, who, after posing for print media , discussed the details of the program and the experiences of individual young people.
