Elian's British School, La Nucia. Trip to Agost. Agost Tour.

On Tuesday the 24th of May, Elian's Year 2 children Travelled by bus to Agost, to Visit this small but historical pottery and brick-making town. After morning tea, we Walked up to a traditional 'pottery' where we Watched Emili Boix, master potter at work while I have enthralled us with tales and anecdotes while I Seemingly produced and all sorts of Different glazed pots, lids, jugs, urns and sculptures as if by magic! I Told us that 5 Generations of His Family Were Before him potter and it Took him 8 years to learn historical trade!
Then we visited a local pottery museum Where We Watched a slide show, Followed by lunch at a local park. Trying our hand at After Some clay work, we played games Until It Was time to catch the bus home.
A great day WAS HAD BY ALL!

On Tuesday May 24, the alumnus of Year 2 of Elian's British School, La Nucia Agost traveled by bus to visit this small but historic town. After lunch the students took a ride to a traditional pottery where they met a master of this art, Emilio Boix. This teacher told the children funny stories and anecdotes while his hands amazingly produced vases, bowls and figures as if it were magic. They also said that 5 generations of his family have devoted to pottery and it cost him 8 years to learn the trade.
Later the children visited a local pottery museum where they saw an interesting presentation. Lunchtime had arrived and went to a park to get your strength and try their own hands the art of pottery.
