This week Year 6C held a special outdoor assembly. They have been learning new playground games in their class and took the opportunity to teach these games to the rest Key Stage 2. The children from Year 6 not only demonstrated the games but each of the children also took responsibility for explaining each game before giving the demonstration. This was a fun way, not only for the children of Key Stage 2 to learn new games, but also a fantastic example of year 6 taking the responsibility of being top of the primary school seriously and leading by example. The assembly was enjoyed by everyone and all the children left feeling excited about playing the new games.
Esta semana los alumnos de Year 6C tuvieron una asamblea especial al aire libre. En clase estuvieron aprendiendo nuevos juegos para el patio y aprovecharon la oportunidad para enseñar dichos juegos al resto de alumnos de key stage 2. Los alumnos de Year 6 no solo mostraron los juegos sino que también tomaron la responsabilidad de explicar cada juego antes de su demostración. Esto fue una manera divertida para los niños de key stage 2 de aprender juegos nuevos y también una fantástica forma de tomar responsabilidades y comportarse como los mayores de la escuela primaria y dar ejemplo. Todos lo pasaron genial en la asamblea y los alumnos estaban muy contentos de haber aprendido juegos nuevos.
